A Different Kind of Trauma Work
Step Two:
The Intensive Day
Your intensive is a full-day therapeutic experience tailored specifically to your treatment goals and nervous system needs. The structure of the day is designed to create enough space for meaningful processing, regulation, and integration without the stop-and-start rhythm of traditional weekly therapy.
This work is active, engaged, and deeply intentional.
The Intensive Experience is a curated, full-day therapeutic immersion designed to support meaningful processing, nervous system regulation, and lasting integration, not just temporary relief.
This work is intentional and deeply focused. We are not simply opening painful experiences and leaving them unresolved. The goal is to help your system move through what has been held and settle differently afterward.
Many people who pursue intensives have already spent years understanding their patterns and telling their story. This approach creates the space to move beyond insight alone and into deeper processing and change.
Our Process
Step One: Assessment
(1–3 Hours)
Before scheduling an intensive, we begin with a collaborative assessment session. This allows us to thoughtfully determine whether this format is the right fit for you and your nervous system.
During this session, we will:
Complete EMDR screening
Identify and map treatment targets
Discuss goals, history, and readiness for intensive work
Determine whether this process aligns with your needs and capacity
This is not a rushed consultation. Taking the time to prepare carefully helps ensure the work is done safely, intentionally, and well.
